Since the xml-c14n-sync lib was dropped (e5ba843), ldh:canonical-content stored Saxon's plain serialize() output (<br/>, attributes in document order), not canonical XML.

  • ldh:canonical-content (client/form.xsl) now runs cm:c14n on the wrapper div. As the c14n apex it declares the XHTML namespace once and the children inherit it.
  • The view-source override shows exactly the stored literal (ldh:canonical-content(rdfae:active-root())).
  • xsl/rdfa-editor/ is synced from Exclusive XML Canonicalization in pure XSLT (cm:c14n) replaces the xml-c14n-sync JS lib RDFa-Editor#34 (canonical-xhtml.xsl, edit.xsl), which adds cm:c14n and its byte-exact tests against libxml2.
  • The stale xml-c14n-sync credit is removed from the README.

Depends on AtomGraph/RDFa-Editor#34.

Notes

  • Literals stored in the serialize() form get rewritten into canonical form the next time each one is edited and saved. There's no bulk migration.
  • Verified: make sef builds and client.xsl compiles. Not yet exercised against a running instance or LDH's HTTP tests.

…he editor's pure-XSLT cm:c14n

ldh:canonical-content stored Saxon's plain serialize() output since the
xml-c14n-sync lib was dropped; it now runs cm:c14n on the wrapper div, which as
the c14n apex declares the XHTML namespace once. View source shows exactly that
stored literal. xsl/rdfa-editor/ is synced from RDFa-Editor (canonical-xhtml.xsl,
edit.xsl), and the stale xml-c14n-sync credit leaves the README.
