Invalidate completion witnesses after dependent decisions and incumbent cuts, propagate nested stop/statistics through ordinary search, and handle prepared terminal spaces. Compact CABS dominated candidates once. Use the existing exact scalar guidance for native incumbent acceptance and remove the extracted Gecode 7 comparison API. Preserve ordinary Gecode 6.x model compatibility and document its existing hidden-completion admission limitation. Independently verified experimental ON 479/479, OFF 475/475, focused and fresh ASan+UBSan 16/16, native examples, independent tiny TSPTW checks and CADDS witness. Remove kernel dependencies on search types and use a preparation driver with kernel propagation statistics. Pack restriction notification into existing Space control state, and use persistent brancher lifecycle hooks. Validated experimental ON/OFF checks, focused completion/search checks, ASan+UBSan, kernel-only linkage, source inventory and examples. Independent Astra high review passed. Allow models to group dominance comparisons with an optional cached key. Keep the predicate authoritative under collisions and enable the key in the TSPTW transition example. Retain parallel worker leases through admission and cleanup so exceptions cannot expose unfinished work.
Reuse incumbent copies and process failed or bound-pruned alternatives locally to reduce coordinator traffic. Check ordinary stops after at most 32 such alternatives and worker-count requests after each alternative. Preserve stop polling while rejecting queued nodes, with focused stop and resume coverage for both pruning paths.
Track candidate positions as the heap moves, so keyed dominance replacement no longer scans the beam. Share heap maintenance between sequential and parallel CABS while leaving ranking and dominance decisions in the engines. Validated with the existing search checks in Release and ASan/UBSan builds, temporary heap mutation probes, independent review, and paired benchmarks.
Submit up to eight successful siblings per frontier lock while preserving original-choice continuation and active leases through disposal. Keep single-child admission for A* and quota-limited CABS. Validated with Release and ASan/UBSan search checks, temporary stop/pause/exception probes, independent review, paired measurements, and separate contention profiles.

Move the
Makefile.depupdates required by open lists (#248) and heuristic search (#256) into this separate PR, keeping generated dependency changes out of the feature reviews.Stacked on #256; merge after both feature PRs. This updates the existing object dependencies and adds rules for the new sources and examples. It preserves the existing formatting and leaves unrelated stale dependencies unchanged.
Validation: the combined tree is identical to the previously reviewed open-search tree. GNU make parses all 914 object/static-object targets with the intended prerequisites; changing either new public search header triggers an existing DFS object rebuild. No runtime code changes.
