This repository is the community and governance hub for the Lind-Project. It holds the project-wide policies that apply across all Lind repositories — how we make decisions, who maintains the project, how to contribute, and how to report security issues.
Lind is a framework for safely executing untrusted POSIX applications inside a single, unprivileged host process, without kernel modifications or elevated privileges, while supporting multiple host environments and targeting multiple isolation backends.
- Contribute — Start with CONTRIBUTING.md, then find a
repository in the Lind-Project organization. New contributors can look
for issues labeled
good first issue. - See where the project is headed — ROADMAP.md lays out the current state and planned direction across Lind repositories.
- Report a security issue — Do not open a public issue; follow SECURITY.md.
- Ask questions — Reach us through GitHub issues and discussions on the relevant repository, or on Slack and our community calls — see COMMUNITY.md for how to join.
Lind's governance is based on the Community Specification model and license from the Joint Development Foundation.
Specifications are provided under the Community Specification License 1.0, and source code under Apache-2.0 unless a repository says otherwise. See LICENSING.md for the full policy, SCOPE.md for the project scope, and NOTICES.md for license acceptances, withdrawals, and patent exclusion notices. Contributions are accepted under the Contributor License Agreement.
