Hello MetaMask maintainers, Thank you for the review of PR #2004. We acknowledge the P1 concern regarding potential confusion with Tether USDT. This contract is independently issued and has no affiliation with Tether or USD backing. We do not want the token to be presented as official Tether USDT. Since the deployed contract already uses the on-chain name and symbol USDT, could you clarify whether any compliant metadata or branding approach is possible for this existing contract, without misrepresenting its on-chain identity? We would appreciate your guidance before making changes. Thank you. |

Adds the icon and ERC-20 metadata for the independently issued BNB Smart Chain token at 0xf1CA95B3f5d7c4A71A6F5473615Cb2347591A874.
On-chain metadata: name USDT, symbol USDT, decimals 18. The token is independently issued and is not affiliated with or endorsed by Tether. No USD backing, redemption right, or guaranteed market value is claimed.
This PR adds token metadata and an icon only; it does not change the contract or chain state.
