    This looks resolved. Slicing was heavily reworked (advanced-indexing parity in #611, in 0.70.0 #628) and is differential-fuzz-gated against NumPy 2.4.2. All the common forms work:

    var m = np.arange(24).reshape(2, 3, 4);
    Console.WriteLine(string.Join(",", m["1"].shape));       // 3,4
    Console.WriteLine(string.Join(",", m[":, 0"].shape));    // 2,4
    Console.WriteLine(m["..., -1"]); // last index of the trailing axis
    Console.WriteLine(m["1, 1:3, ::2"]);                      // mixed int + range + step

    The original repro was a 2019 screenshot on the ndarray-indexing branch. Closing as resolved - please reopen with a minimal repro on 0.70.0 if you still hit it.
