XbotEdu's AdvantageScope layout no longer includes a Swerve tab (Team488/XbotEdu#48), so the simulator page shouldn't list it. The Advanced Swerve challenge still walks students through creating one themselves. Co-Authored-By: Claude Opus 5.5 <[email protected]>
XbotEdu's layout is being replaced with a fresh AdvantageScope 2026 export (Team488/XbotEdu#48). The old 4.1.1 file only partially imported in 2026 - just 2d top view came through - and the new one deliberately ships two tabs: 2d top view and 3D Field, both on the 2026 field. The tab table now lists just those two. The Joysticks, Table and Console rows are gone, along with the troubleshooting tip that relied on the Joysticks tab; it now points at the axis readout in the Robot Simulation window, which is always available. Adds a short tip on finding raw logged values from the sidebar instead. Co-Authored-By: Claude Opus 5.5 <[email protected]>

Brings the simulator page (from #20) in line with XbotEdu's new AdvantageScope layout in Team488/XbotEdu#48.
Background
XbotEdu's layout was saved by AdvantageScope 4.1.1 in 2025. In the WPILib 2026 build it shows an "old layout" warning and only partially imports: of its five tabs, only 2d top view came through. #48 replaces it with a fresh 2026 export that has two tabs on the 2026 field, tested against the simulator.
Changes to
simulator.mdTab table: now lists only what students actually get.
The Swerve, Joysticks, Table and Console rows are gone.
Troubleshooting: the "robot doesn't move" tip pointed at the AdvantageScope Joysticks tab, which no longer ships. It now points at the axis readout under Joystick[0] in the Robot Simulation window, which is always there and answers the same question: is the robot getting my input?
New tip: the AdvantageScope sidebar lists every logged value, and any of them can be dragged into a tab. This replaces what the Table tab was for, without shipping a tab most students won't use. It gives the drive motors under
AdvantageKit/DriveSubsystemas an example.Merge after Team488/XbotEdu#48 so the docs and the layout agree.
pnpm docs:buildpasses, and no stale tab names are left on the page.🤖 Generated with Claude Code
