Section Intros Bug: Displaying RAP, Outcome separate pages? #1056

Open

Description

@jkostiuk

After syncing recently, I noticed that my activity book now has the motivating question, outcomes, and readiness outcomes as separate section. I haven't built the main repo in my codespace yet, but i didn't make other changes to my book, so I think it's something upstream?

    merging a bugfix that Drew solved in #1052 -- will compare this with the live preview once that builds.

    Okay finally got previews working again, and yes, it's hit us upstream due to an updated PreTeXt version.

    Will investigate.

    So this is in part a result of the changes at 2148bcc where @siwelwerd added extra expository text (e.g. the two introductions) and in part changes in more recent versions of PreTeXt. My first guess is that everything should be in a single <introduction><p/><objectives/><assemblage/></introduction>, but it will take some experimentation and/or referencing the docs.

    Now that I am in front of a big screen this seemed to work for the HTML (see #1059), but I am now getting an error in building the print target I will have to chase down.

    I didn't get an error with the print target (at least after my suggestions at #1062 are implemented, though it's not clear that those addressed the problem)

    I should have been more clear that I was referring to the linear-algebra-print-619 target. There's maybe a separate question we never addressed as to whether to maintain the other print target linear-algebra-print (which produces the PDF version we distribute in the Resource Library) or only worry about the one.
