Adds Tempr's coding agent, which runs as an ACP agent with tempr acp, so ACP clients can find and launch it. Setup and features are documented at https://temprhq.io/docs/cli-editors.

Scope: two new files under tempr/. No changes to other agents or workflows.

Distribution: self-contained binaries for all six platforms, with the SHA-256 pinned. They're served from https://temprhq.io/cli/v0.9.22/, not from GitHub Releases or npm. That means the hourly updater won't see new versions, so we'll open a PR for each CLI release. If you'd prefer, we could add a custom version source for tempr instead (like Junie's), reading https://temprhq.io/cli/latest.json and the .sha256 files published next to each archive.

Sign-in: initialize offers terminal auth (tempr-terminal, which runs tempr auth --browser) and agent auth (tempr-browser, where the agent opens the sign-in page itself). When the client declares the older _meta["terminal-auth"] capability, the command is also sent on the method's _meta.terminal-auth.

Icon: Tempr's favicon, 16×16 and monochrome, using currentColor only.

Validation, run in a python:3.13-slim container on 2026-09-30, again for 0.9.9 on 2026-10-01, for 0.9.10 on 2026-10-04, 0.9.11 on 2026-10-05, 0.9.12 on 2026-10-07, 0.9.13 on 2026-10-07, 0.9.14 on 2026-10-07, and 0.9.22 on 2026-10-08 (build_registry.py --dry-run, verify_agents.py --auth-check --agent tempr, and the 205 tests all pass):

  • build_registry.py --dry-run with URL checks on: 43 agents validated. Schema, version matching, URLs and icon all pass.
  • verify_agents.py --auth-check --agent tempr: the linux-x64 archive is downloaded, its SHA-256 verified, and the result is Auth OK: tempr-terminal(terminal), tempr-browser(agent).
  • The workflow tests (pytest tests/): 205 passed.
  • git diff --check is clean.

On our side, tempr acp passes acp-tck (CONFORMANT). This release was also tried by hand in Zed and in JetBrains AI Assistant, as a custom agent: sign-in, the mode, model and web search options, tool calls with diffs and permissions, slash commands, and session load with replay all worked.

Hi, could a maintainer approve the workflow run on this PR when you have a chance? The Build & Validate and Lint & Test checks are waiting on approval for a first-time contributor. The branch is up to date with main, and I'll keep the version current as new CLI releases go out. Thanks!
