The implicit Jar type is org.gradle.api.tasks.bundling.Jar, but the publishing plugin’s Javadoc task
extends org.gradle.jvm.tasks.Jar directly, so this rule misses it. Confirmed that the generated Javadoc JAR lacks LICENSE, NOTICE, and LICENSES/MIT.txt. Use
tasks.withType<org.gradle.jvm.tasks.Jar>() to cover all three published artifacts.

Summary
Adopt the shared ANS contribution, conduct and security guidance, with repository-specific development instructions. Route reviews through the repository Maintainer/Reviewer teams, the TSC fallback and the temporary owner team; Maintainer pages link to the managed team roster.
Require Apache-2.0 for new original contributions while preserving the original MIT license and copyright notice in
LICENSES/MIT.txt. Explain the legacy material inNOTICE, update contribution guidance and package metadata, and include the applicable texts in distributions. Earlier contributions keep their existing terms; no retroactive Apache patent grant is asserted.Testing
