Oddly, the 3.14 test runs here are stalling without any further indications. |
Defer adding 3.14 to the test matrix, until we've got a handle on why that's not running properly.

Version 1.0
This pull request is a placeholder for triaging a 1.0 release against.
Version 1.0 is not planned to introduce breaking changes. We are updating our supported Python versions, and may be updating our SSL defaults and re-reviewing other security-related changes as part of the release.
Why the delay?
Issues and pull requests on the httpx repository had previously been closed. GitHub have since introduced access controls allowing us to ensure visibility, while limiting access to project maintainers.
We have also been quietly working towards a more comprehensive redesign, which we'll be sharing details of in due course.
