Prerequisites

Use the Node.js range declared in package.json: ^20.19.0, ^22.13.0 or >=24.

First useful path

1. Install the dependencies exactly from the committed lockfile.
2. Run lint, worker-pool regression tests and every numbered exercise.
3. Use the existing wiki catalog to find an individual implementation and its run command.

Run from the cloned repository root unless a command changes directory:

npm ci
npm run check

Read the complete source README before changing versions, configuration or input data.

Before running anything

Mixed output types explicitly required by an exercise are declared in JSDoc. Exercise 304 deliberately uses an Error with the original rejection message. Passing supplied examples is not proof of every possible input or a published library API.
