### SOURCES ACQUIRED (2026-11-01): all 92 ALA-LC guide documents

The complete ALA-LC romanization guide corpus is downloaded and
validated (all PDFs open; text layers thin/partial — tables read
visually per the owner directive) into
interscript-private-references/alalc/alalc-<lang>.pdf from
loc.gov/catdir/cpso/romanization/. This completes the source-
acquisition step for ALL five batches (ALA-1 through ALA-5); encoding
is now purely local work, one PR per batch, tests from each guide's
own examples.
