# ISO gaps

ISO 9:1995 non-Russian Cyrillic — per-letter coverage check vs registry
(scripts exist: maps/tools + docs/coverage diffs). ISO 259 Hebrew letter
table (pointed input = Track B companion). ISO 7098 pinyin (large
syllabary — the din chinese approach). ISO 15919 Indic remainder —
enumerate the script set vs the 4 existing pli/san/hin? maps and encode
the missing scripts.
SOURCES STATUS (2026-11-03): only ISO-9-1995.pdf is in
interscript-private-references/iso/. ISO 259, ISO 7098 and ISO 15919
PDFs are NOT in the library — encoding them without the normative
tables would violate the no-fabrication law. OWNER-GATED: acquire the
three PDFs (or bless well-known secondary sources per table).

- ISO 9:1995 non-Russian — ACTIONABLE (source present). Table 3 (118
non-Slavic characters, one sequence in Cyrillic alphabetic order) is
a scanned table; transcription in progress (map planned as
iso-mul-Cyrl-Latn-9-1995-t3 following the -t1/-t2 suffix convention).
Coverage check vs the registry happens on the transcribed pairs (the
Russian tables 1-2 are covered by iso-rus-Cyrl-Latn-9-1995).
- ISO 259 Hebrew letter table (pointed input = Track B companion) —
BLOCKED on the source PDF.
- ISO 7098 pinyin (large syllabary — encode with the DIN 32708 kana
approach) — BLOCKED on the source PDF.
- ISO 15919 Indic remainder — the corpus has 18 iso-*-15919 maps
(asm ben guj hin inc kan mal mar nep ori pan pli x4 pra san tam tel).
The 15919 script set also covers Sinhala, Lao, Khmer, Tibetan and
per-script vowel extensions — BLOCKED on the source PDF; enumerate
precisely once acquired.

SOURCE STATUS (2026-11-03): neither the current ICAO 9303 part
documents nor the current UNGEGN romanization files are in
interscript-private-references/. OWNER-GATED acquisition (the
older .imp-era icao-9303-2 multi-language content was already split
per-language in the registry per the #168 analysis). Once acquired:
diff per language column vs the registry maps; encode genuine gaps;
note reissues as notes, never silently overwrite.
