Restore unicode escapes in the parsers, add an ASCII check, drop Bower and fix stale docs.
The TS scripting host rewrite and the external libraries were never built or shipped.
Typed comment data, pluggable timers, manager lifecycle methods, a narrow space allocator type and better tree-shaking.
The scripting engine and specs keep a non-strict configuration for now.
Replaces the manually maintained gh-pages branch.

This project is really old and way behind the times on current JS frameworks.
Just did an effort to use AI tools to modernize the library, tests, and interfaces to the current state of Typescript, while trying our best to keep this project at ES5 compatibility levels (trying to keep with the roots of this project which at its start supported IE6!)
This branch currently is being tracked as a PR pending further human review + AI testing. If all clears, this this will become the basis for v1.0 of CCL
