🎯 Functional Correctness | 🟡 Minor | ⚡ Quick win
Clarify how dependabot.yml affects security updates.
Line 24 says that dependabot.yml plays no part. Security updates can use this file for grouping and other configuration options. This statement can mislead maintainers who need to configure those updates. State that security updates do not require a configured version-update schedule instead. (docs.github.com)

Accepted. "dependabot.yml plays no part" overstated it: security updates need no dependabot.yml entry, but that file can configure them. The comment now says so. The wording differs slightly from the suggestion to keep it short. Fixed in cfb804e. The same edit is in the matching minfraud-api-node PR so the two copies stay identical.
Replace the long header comment in the Dependabot failure watcher with a short summary, a list of the three run kinds, and a table of run title shapes. The comment then gives the rules for the filter: why security updates are excluded, why both halves of " in /. for " are needed, how the e2e clause works, why the filter is a denylist, and the limits that apply to the workflow. Comment-only change. Co-Authored-By: Claude Sonnet 5.5 <[email protected]>

Qualify the scheduled-workflow rules.
The 60-day automatic-disable rule applies to public repositories. GitHub also documents notifications, not a guaranteed email to the last cron editor. The current wording can mislead private-repository operators and overstate the notification channel.
