- Line 507: Update the tag-name scan in opensWithTag to accept uppercase letters
as well as lowercase letters, hyphens, and underscores. Add a paste test
confirming that input beginning with an uppercase tag such as <DIV>text</DIV> is
recognized as markup and does not become the session title.
- Line 492: Update the paste-title flow around firstLine and opensWithTag to
check the paste’s first non-blank body line for opening markup, rather than
allowing a later heading to determine the check or title. Preserve heading
selection for envelopes that need it.

🎯 Functional Correctness | 🟡 Minor | ⚡ Quick win
Select the paste’s opening content before checking for markup.
firstLine can prefer a later heading over the paste’s first non-blank line. For <pasted_content>\n<bash-stdout>out</bash-stdout>\n# Heading\n</pasted_content>, pasteLine returns Heading instead of rejecting the opening markup. A paste that starts with prose can likewise receive a later heading as its title. Select the first non-blank body line before applying the markup check, and keep heading selection for envelopes that need it.

Recognize uppercase tag names as markup.
If a paste starts with <DIV>text</DIV>, opensWithTag returns false because its name scan accepts only lowercase letters. The tag then becomes the session title instead of naming nothing. Accept uppercase letters in the tag-name scan and add a corresponding paste test.

A tightly-scoped fix for #1492: pastes that opened a session were titling it with the paste's own opening tag. The PR unwraps a leading <pasted_content> wrapper in both the enveloped (<session>/<conversation>/<bash-input>) and bare cases, re-tests the resulting first line so a nested wrapper or lone close tag still names nothing, and leaves every other wrapper and every look-alike tag (<pasted_contents>, prose mentioning the tag) alone.
Independent verification: ran a scratch probe on the branch exercising leading whitespace, CRLF, newline-in-open-tag, HTML body, nested wrapper, attribute-containing->, same-line body, truncated open, close-with-prose-after, and envelope variants. Confirmed the live <session>-wrapped paste titles correctly, a bare paste works, and the known tradeoffs behave as the PR describes (HTML-opening paste names nothing, nested wrapper names nothing). Noted two very narrow quirks inline.

nit: a bare paste with leading whitespace before <pasted_content falls through this rule and keeps the raw tag as the title. The enveloped path trims (strings.TrimLeft in takeFirstLine), the bare path does not. In practice Claude Code sends the paste as the first bytes, so it is unlikely to hit — mentioning for the record.

nit: strings.IndexByte(rest, '>') stops at the first >, so an attribute whose value contains > (e.g. id=">">) titles the session with the attribute remnant. Ids in the harness are hex, so this is theoretical — worth a line of comment if you want it on record.
fix(session): title a pasted opening message by its first line
A session whose opening message was a paste was titled with the paste's
own opening tag, e.g. <pasted_content id="8f8e">, and kept it under
first-wins.
Unwrap a leading <pasted_content> (with or without attributes; the close
carries the id too) before a line is chosen, both inside a ,
or body and as a bare message. Only
pasted_content is unwrapped, as in the harvester's contentBearingWrappers.
A line that still opens with a tag names nothing.
