Changes

  • pyproject.toml: pin the build backend to setuptools==84.2.1 and drop wheel, which setuptools doesn't need to build the wheel
  • CHANGELOG.md: date the 1.0.0 release
  • README: install from PyPI, since the README becomes the PyPI project page for 1.0.0

Approving at 3b5d127. Checked:

  • A dry run of the publish workflow's check step passes for a v1.0.0 tag on main, and fails for a wrong tag, a tag on an unmerged commit and the old (unreleased) heading.
  • With setuptools==84.2.1 pinned, python -m build builds cleanly. The wheel's description, which comes from the README, now has pip install spreedly-composer-sdk-server and no install-from-GitHub text, and the wheel's other files match the earlier review build.

🔵 Needs a closer look
