Use GitHub-generated release notes through
softprops/action-gh-release@v3, matching Iris's release workflow, and remove the repository changelog. Preserve XCFramework assets and check out the requested tag for manual releases.Historical migration
Published 14 missing historical releases and supplemented 27 existing releases before removing the changelog. Verified all 41 migrated entries, preserved existing notes, metadata, and assets, and included original dates in the notes because GitHub publication timestamps cannot be backdated. Discarded Unreleased notes as requested because future notes derive from pull requests.
Verification
Passed macOS tests,
make lint, actionlint, andgit diff --check. Tests emitted a CoreGraphics PDF diagnostic. The updated release workflow has not run on GitHub.
