The minio/minio image was removed from Docker Hub, which causes pnpm dx:up (docker compose -f docker/dev/compose.yml up -d) and production Docker Compose deployments to fail with:
Error response from daemon: pull access denied for minio/minio, repository does not exist or may require 'docker login'
Changes
Replaced image: minio/minio with image: cgr.dev/chainguard/minio:latest in docker/dev/compose.yml and docker/prod/compose.yml.
Verified locally with pnpm dx:up that the unsend-storage-dev container pulls and runs cleanly alongside the existing entrypoint: sh and command: -c 'mkdir -p /data/unsend && minio server /data --console-address ":9001" --address ":9002"' configuration.
Summary by CodeRabbit
Chores
Updated the MinIO service used in development and production environments to use a different container image. Other production service settings are unchanged.
The development and production Compose configurations now use cgr.dev/chainguard/minio:latest for the MinIO service instead of minio/minio. No other service configuration changes are described.
Possibly related PRs
usesend/useSend#475: Changes the same development and production Compose storage services, replacing MinIO with RustFS and updating storage configuration.

Explanation
Issue #471 has one requirement: replace the unavailable Docker Hub image minio/minio. The whole-PR diff from the merge base to head confirms the change. In docker/dev/compose.yml, the minio service changes from image: minio/minio to image: cgr.dev/chainguard/minio:latest. In docker/prod/compose.yml, the minio service changes the same way. No other lines change in either file. The requirement is coding-only and is met. The PR description reports a local pnpm dx:up check for the dev container. It does not report a production deployment check. The issue does not require one, so this does not affect the verdict.

Fix the storage volume ownership before deploying this image swap.
The prod stack reuses the storage named volume that the previous minio/minio image populated. That image ran as root. The new image runs as UID 65532. Nothing in the stack changes ownership: there is no user: key, and no chown or init step. On an in-place upgrade, MinIO can fail to write its metadata under /data and exit. Object storage then stays down until the ownership changes.
The mkdir -p /data/unsend step does not fail on an existing directory. The failure point is MinIO startup.
Change the ownership once, before the upgrade:
docker run --rm -v <compose-project>_storage:/data alpine chown -R 65532:65532 /data
Replace <compose-project> with the Compose project name. Compose prefixes named volumes with it.
